page: Requirements
Yes, a valid pet liability insurance is required for your dog's stay. A photo or scan of the policy is sufficient.
In addition to necessary documents like proof of insurance, vaccination certificate (pet passport), harness and leash, or other special equipment, you can optionally bring anything that reminds your beloved furry friend of home.
Here are some examples:
- blanket
- dog basket/bed
- toys
- other equipment your dog needs, such as rain/winter coat, special feeding aids, etc.
Food bowls, water bowls, waste bags, etc., do not need to be brought; we have plenty on site.
You can bring your dog's usual food; feeding is, of course, free of charge.
We can also provide food for the entire stay for €8 per day, saving you the hassle of carrying and shopping. This requires that your dog is relatively insensitive and tolerates new food and food changes well. We have various dry and wet foods available from different brands. We choose at our discretion. We often cook rice with vegetables (e.g., carrots) to enhance the food.
If your dog is sensitive or has special dietary needs, such as allergy food, BARF, or other special diets, please bring such foods in appropriate quantities.
Yes, administering medication is free of charge. We have extensive experience in giving medication to dogs.
It's important that you specifically inform us about your dog's health condition and specify the type and amount of medication. A written medication plan is useful if more than one medication needs to be given in different amounts and at specific times.
Please bring sufficient medication for the duration of the stay.
No, we cannot accommodate large dogs weighing more than 20 kg. We can only provide adequate care for small to medium-sized dogs up to a maximum of 20 kg.
Our decision to accept a dog is not based solely on weight, but due to spatial capacity, it is an important factor that we have to take into account.
